Compare Wedding Budgets
It’s important to work out your wedding budget, so let’s briefly compare options
(A) Full-day £1490 (1700 Irish euros)
Bridal preparations up to the second dance.
(B) Full-day and wedding album £1990 (2290 Irish euros)
Bridal preparations up to the second dance.
(C) Half-day Bridal prep up to speeches OR ceremony up to second dance £1390 (1600 Irish euros)
(D) Two hours £990 (1150 Irish euros)
(E) Less than two hours £890 (1050 Irish euros)
Let’s compare wedding photography prices and packages. When planning your wedding budget, it's important to choose the best package that fits your needs. The best option is the (A) full-day price as I’m there all day from start to finish, where you will get all the photos and images. With the (B) second package, you’ll also get a wedding album. With both (C) and (D) half-day prices, you are missing parts of the day, but if you don’t mind, that’ll be ok. These parts of the day may not be as important to you as others. There is a free pre-wedding photo shoot with the top with (A) and (B). All photos are supplied as high-resolution JPEGs; you will not get them in any other format other than this.
My minimum wedding photography price is the bottom option (D) above, which is less than 2 hours, but as you can see, there is not much difference between this price and the next up. With this, you receive all photos on a USB, which you can view on a smartTV. I am finding this better than a password-protected online gallery, as the USB lasts longer. Fewer hours that this is the same price as this. Each section details what you get at each price, with (B) being the only package I offer, as you receive a high-quality album, too.
Optional Extras
Personalised USB £190 extra per unit
Additional album £490 based on the above size, pages and finish
Extra hours are £290 per hour
Wedding Photography Packages
I don’t offer many wedding photography packages in Northern Ireland but do concentrate on one, which is the above (B) package and is a full-day with the album. This is great as you get your album too beautifully designed and printed, as detailed above. Even with a lower budget, couples can still have their wedding professionally photographed and offer customised packages with different shooting hours and additional items.

I also shoot in the city as my wedding photography in Belfast prices are certainly affordable but perhaps not cheap and not just for anywhere in the city but also the surrounding areas. Depending on your budget, you may think my prices in Belfast are not cheap, but I offer various options for you to choose from with various hours.
Wedding Photography Prices
My wedding photography prices in Ireland are the same as my prices, which are a good price in ROI. Finding someone is crucial so that you get quality and affordability that fits your needs. I have also included my prices in Irish euros below the sterling on each package. To work out what good wedding photography costs in Ireland, simply convert my sterling costs to Irish euros. My wedding photographer in Ireland cost covers Monaghan and any border counties over the border. Travel is within 2 hour’s drive of the border, any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Affordable Wedding Photographer
I would classify myself as an affordable wedding photographer in Northern Ireland. To elaborate on that, the definition of affordable means inexpensive and reasonably priced, which pretty much sums me up. I’m neither expensive nor ultra-cheap, but I would say inexpensive. Expensive to me is someone who charges over the £1500 mark, which I don’t do. I would say I’m reasonably priced, which makes me affordable.
Cheap Wedding Photos and why I’d avoid
And why I’d avoid it! (I’m talking about low wedding photography costs). Just a quick note on ultra-cheap photographers in Northern Ireland and also ROI and why I'd quite frankly run a mile as there are a few reasons to avoid and book someone who is one of the affordable photographers, like myself. I offer a good all-round price on a wedding, and my prices are competitive. I am not a budget or an ultra-cheap wedding photographer, but I’m afraid you pay for what you get… in my opinion. I don’t offer wedding photography costs per hour or rates, but you can work that out from above.
Cheap wedding photography is not the way to go for various reasons, some of which are because
They have no or minimal experience
They are family or friends with a nice camera (any of these are never a good idea)
Their photo equipment is not up to much and is substandard, resulting in bad-quality photos
They say they're brilliant (mostly like a relative or a friend has told them this) but are just dreadful and not even close
They're idiot types
There are so many other reasons to avoid.
Average Wedding Photographer Cost
The average wedding photographer's cost varies like most things today. Experience, are they in demand, and gear are just two factors. You can have it expensive and cheaper, but I would book someone in between, which is a good average. In between someone not too expensive and not cheap, and you get a wedding photographer's average cost.
